Tips for preparing tea infusion
For black tea: pour approximately 200 ml of boiling water onto 1 teabag (or 1 teaspoonful of leaf tea). Stir after one minute and leave to infuse for a further two or three minutes. For a stronger cup, brew for another minute. Add sugar or honey to taste. Serve in porcelain cups. To make iced tea, brew for 6 minutes, leave to cool and pour over ice cubes, adding sugar and cold water. Garnish with orange slice, cinnamon, mint leaves or other.
For green tea: Boil water and leave to cool for a minute. Pour approximately 200 ml of this water onto 1 teabag (or 1 teaspoonful of leaf tea). Stir after one minute and leave to infuse for a further three minutes. For a stronger cup, brew for another minute. Add sugar to taste. Milk is not recommended. Serve in porcelain cups.
